Norman Wexler

In practice for some 35 years, Norman Wexler is a civil litigator concentrates on personal injury claims, wrongful dismissal, and the law of professional regulation.

He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University with an emphasis on the biological sciences, a Master's degree in the area of behavioural neuroscience from the University of British Columbia and he did further doctoral level course work in neuroanatomy and neurochemistry at York University.  He has often found this educational background to be very useful in connection with the hundreds of personal injury cases he has handled, particularly those involving head injuries.

Norman completed a law degree at Osgoode Hall Law school in 1974 where he was the recipient of two prizes in international law.

He has taught extensively at the UBC law school, having spent two full years there has a visiting lecturer and subsequently many years as a visiting or adjunct professor.  His teaching areas were clinical legal training, trial practice, law and psychiatry and civil litigation.  He has appeared at every level of the courts of British Columbia and before numerous tribunals.
